"body": "## TL;DR\nThe Dune client — the single network dependency of the replay evidence chain — had **no timeout, no retry, no 429 handling**, silently substituted parameter-insensitive cached rows when executions failed, and could return silently truncated rows after a mid-pagination blip. One hung connection stalled a CLI forever; one HTTP blip burned execution credits with no artifact.\n\n## What\n- `AbortSignal.timeout(30s)` on every request; poll loop bounds each status fetch to the remaining deadline (hard timeout)\n- Bounded retry (3×, exp backoff + jitter, `Retry-After` honored incl. HTTP-date, capped) on credit-free GETs only — **POST /execute is never retried** (spends credits); poll loop honors `Retry-After` on 429 instead of hammering\n- Execution-path pagination failures throw `DunePaginationError` **carrying the execution ID** so the paid execution is recoverable via `--execution` instead of re-spending\n- `getLatestResults` (rows-only) throws on mid-fetch failure — no more silently short data\n- **Cache fallback is now opt-in**: `executeDuneQuery[WithMeta]` defaults to `cacheFallback: 'reject'` and throws typed `DuneFreshExecutionError` (`execute_failed`/`poll_timeout`/`terminal_state`/`malformed_result`). The two parameterized providers opt in explicitly (they already gate on `fromCacheFallback`); `dune-freeze` inherits fail-closed\n- `historical-price-provider`: a cache-read failure no longer skips fresh execution (previously fell straight to Coinbase spot, silently degrading rolling-APR pricing); fresh failure keeps cached rows\n\n## Verification\nshared: 302 tests green (+25: retry, 429/Retry-After, fail-closed codes, truncation-throws, poll-blip survival). cl-intelligence: 1,355 green (+2 provider regression tests).
