He said it would be nice if Nixmac suggested and executed the Homebrew installation itself.\n\n## Desired outcome\n\nA Homebrew-backed configuration change does not leave the user at a dead-end activation error.\n\n## Acceptance criteria\n\n- [ ] Nixmac recognizes this Homebrew-missing activation failure.\n- [ ] The user gets a clear recoverable path from inside the Nixmac flow.\n\n## Scenarios\n\nScenario: Nixmac detects Homebrew is missing during activation<br> Given the user requests a configuration that includes homebrew.enable = true<br> And Homebrew is not installed on the machine<br> When Nixmac attempts to activate the configuration<br> Then it intercepts the activation error before failing hard<br> And presents the user with a clear explanation: \"Homebrew is required but not installed\"\n\nScenario: User chooses to install Homebrew during activation<br> Given Nixmac has detected that Homebrew is missing<br> When the user chooses \"Install Homebrew and continue\"<br> Then Nixmac runs the Homebrew installer<br> And retries the activation after installation succeeds<br> And the user lands in a working state with Homebrew enabled\n\nScenario: User cancels Homebrew installation<br> Given Nixmac has detected that Homebrew is missing<br> When the user chooses \"Cancel\" or \"Skip Homebrew\"<br> Then the Homebrew-dependent configuration change is rolled back<br> And the user's configuration reverts to the last working state<br> And no partial activation is left behind\n\nScenario: Activation succeeds after Homebrew installation<br> Given Homebrew was successfully installed by Nixmac<br> When the configuration is re-activated<br> Then the evolution completes without errors<br> And homebrew.enable = true is present in the final applied configuration",
